Kyosuke Nishiki's Vampire-chan Can't Suck Properly Anime

An official website and X (formerly Twitter) account were launched today, revealing that a TV anime adaptation of Kyosuke Nishiki’s Vampire-chan Can’t Suck Properly (Chanto Suenai Kyuketsuki-chan) comedy manga is currently in development, with a planned release in 2025.

Along with this announcement, a teaser visual and a commemorative illustration were shared, as well as details about the main cast and staff.

The main cast of Vampire-chan Can’t Suck Properly includes:

  • Luna Ishikawa, voiced by Minami Tanaka (Lily in ZOMBIE LAND SAGA)
  • Tatsuta Otori, voiced by Kensho Ono (Yuri in SPY x FAMILY)

Kyosuke Nishiki’s Vampire-chan Can’t Suck Properly Anime

Based on the manga by Kyosuke Nishiki, the anime will be directed by Sayaka Yamai (Life With an Ordinary Guy Who Reincarnated Into a Total Fantasy Knockout) at studio feel., with series composition by Yuniko Ayana (The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies) and character designs by Takuya Tani (Ms. Koizumi Loves Ramen Noodles).

The anime’s official website offers the following description of the story (translated):

Luna Ishikawa, a transfer student, is a vampire. She exudes a mysterious aura and strong presence, making her incredibly popular in her class.

Otori, who has lived a life as a background character, never expected to have any interactions with Luna—until one day, he discovers her secret. Luna is a cool vampire who excels at studying and sports but is surprisingly terrible at sucking blood!

You, too, can become a “Mama”—

This is a fresh, comedic story about pampering and feeding!
