Attack on Titan Final Season Movie Screening

According to The Numbers, the four-day screenings of Attack on Titan The Movie: THE LAST ATTACK, a compilation of Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS, have surpassed US$2.54 million in earnings within the United States.

The film’s worldwide box office revenue has reached US$12,041,979. Meanwhile, the live-action Sonic the Hedgehog 3 film grossed US$855,000 over the past weekend, bringing its total U.S. earnings to US$234,463,457.

Box Office Mojo provides a breakdown of the earnings for Attack on Titan The Movie: THE LAST ATTACK, reporting that it earned US$1,685,917 on February 10, followed by US$340,586 on February 11, US$349,153 on February 12, and US$167,051 on February 13.

The film made its North American theatrical debut on February 10.

International screenings have been scheduled as follows:

  • February 6: Australia, New Zealand
  • February 12: Finland
  • February 13: Spain
  • February 20: Denmark, The Netherlands
  • February 21: Norway, Sweden
  • February 25: Germany
  • February 26: United Kingdom, Ireland
  • March 1: France
  • March 3: Italy

In Japan, the film was released on November 8 for a limited three-week run. During its first three days, it sold 175,000 tickets, generating revenue of 249,435,720 yen (approximately US$1.59 million).

Attack on Titan Final Season Movie Screening

Running for a total of 145 minutes, the film features 5.1-channel surround sound and serves as a refined version of the two-part final season. The theme song, “Nisen-nen… Moshiku wa…. Niman-nen ato no Kimi e” (To You in 2,000… or… 20,000 Years From Now) by Linked Horizon, returns for this edition.

Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS (Shingeki no Kyojin The Final Season Kanketsu-hen) Part 1 originally aired as a one-hour special in March 2023, while Part 2 was released in November 2023.

Additionally, both parts of Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS were available for streaming in Japan as single-episode formats, marking episodes 88 to 94 of Attack on Titan The Final Season. Toonami broadcasted Part 2 in January 2024.

The first season of the Attack on Titan television anime debuted in April 2013, with its second season premiering in April 2017. The third season was split into two parts, with the first airing in July 2018 and the second in April 2019.

Attack on Titan The Final Season began airing on NHK in December 2020, consisting of 16 episodes. Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 2 followed in January 2022 on the NHK General channel, featuring 12 episodes.

Hajime Isayama first published the Attack on Titan manga in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in 2009, concluding the series in April 2021. The 34th and final volume was released in June 2021. Kodansha USA Publishing handled the English-language release of the manga in both digital and print formats, with the 34th volume arriving in October 2021.
