The Jump Festa ’25 event, held on Saturday, announced that Yūji Kaku’s Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku manga is being adapted into a video game titled Jigokuraku: Paradise Battle.
This upcoming game is slated for release in 2025 on smartphones and PC. It will be available as a free-to-play title, with optional in-game purchases offered.
MAPPA, known for its work on the anime adaptation, is providing editorial supervision for this “survival RPG.” Twin Engine is credited with planning cooperation for the project.
Akira Kindaichi, the scriptwriter for the anime, is overseeing the game’s scenario. Additionally, Yoshiaki Dewa, who worked on the anime’s music, is returning to compose for the game alongside ZENTA. Production of the game is being handled by Good Smile Company.

Hell’s Paradise Jigokuraku
Kaku originally launched the Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku manga on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website and app in January 2018, concluding the series in January 2021. The 13th and final volume of the manga was released in April 2021.
Viz Media made the manga available digitally through its Shonen Jump service, while Shueisha offered it via the MANGA Plus platform. Additionally, Viz Media publishes the manga in print format.
The anime adaptation premiered its first season in April 2023, airing on TV Tokyo and its affiliates. It is available for streaming on Crunchyroll in regions including America, Europe, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. In Asian-Pacific countries, except for Australia, New Zealand, and China, the series is streaming on Netflix. Crunchyroll also offers an English-dubbed version of the anime.
Fans can look forward to the second season of the anime, which is scheduled to debut in January 2026 and will also stream on Crunchyroll.
