Coamix’s Monthly Comic Zenon revealed on Friday that writer Maya Miyazaki, alongside Shadows of Kyoto artist Yumeya, has launched a new series titled Warui no wa Shakai da (It’s Society’s Fault) on the same day.
The series centers around Maki, a woman who encounters a man named Tomonori. While Tomonori often covers the expenses when they go out together, he occasionally says a peculiar word, “namapo.” The narrative delves into her growing relationship with this man, who is depicted as morally questionable and comes from the darker side of society.

Holy Knight manga
Yumeya made her debut with the Shadows of Kyoto (Ura Kyoto) manga on the Comic Tatan website in August 2020 and concluded the series that November. The collected volume of the series was released in Japan in December 2020. Titan Comics later published the series in English, with the compiled volume hitting shelves on January 14.
Miyazaki’s Holy Knight manga was released in English by Digital Manga Publishing’s Project-H imprint in 2014. The series inspired a two-part OVA, which was released in 2012. Media Blasters brought the anime to DVD in 2015 and streamed it on Crunchyroll. The anime was later released on Blu-ray Disc by Media Blasters in August 2021.
