On Monday, the X (formerly Twitter) account for Square Enix’s Manga UP! platform revealed that Rōgai Level, the manga by Nazuna Miki and Ayame Inada, will conclude with its final chapter on Wednesday.
The manga follows Kato, a worn-out salaryman who is shoved in front of an oncoming train by his abusive boss.
Upon awakening, he discovers he has been reincarnated into a fantasy world as Cain, a man with a unique ability to instantly identify elderly troublemakers and assess their threat levels. Determined, he embarks on a mission to eliminate all the troublesome elderly individuals in this new world.
Square Enix released the first compiled volume of the manga on June 7.
Manga Rōgai Level on Square Enix
Miki and Namoshiro Tanahashi launched the manga Died a Slave, Reborn a Noble: Becoming the Strongest With a Daughter Who’s Older Than Me (Tensei Shita Moto Dorei, Saikyō no Kizoku ni natte Toshiue no Musume to Sekai Saikyō o Mezashimasu) on Square Enix’s Gangan Online manga website in March 2021. The series concluded with its 12th volume in June 2023.
Miki initially introduced the web novel series My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1 (Level 1 dakedo Unique Skill de Saikyō desu) on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let’s Be Novelists) website in February 2017.
Later, Miki and illustrator Subachi adapted it into a print light novel series in September 2017. Mawata’s manga adaptation debuted on Kodansha’s Suiyōbi no Sirius website in May 2018.
Kodansha USA Publishing acquired the licensing rights for both the light novel series and the manga adaptation. An anime adaptation of the series premiered in July 2023.
