Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed an English character trailer on Monday for Bleach: Rebirth of Souls, a new 3D arena fighting game based on the Bleach franchise. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The newly released trailer showcases the abilities of Tier Halibel.
The game is set to launch on March 21.
Editions and Bonuses:
- Deluxe Edition: Includes a season pass featuring four additional playable characters, early access for one week, and Soul Crystals.
- Ultimate Edition: Contains all Deluxe Edition content along with five costume sets from Thousand-Year Blood War and Rebirth of Souls.
- Pre-order Bonus: A Thousand-Year Blood War costume set.
The season pass will introduce four DLC characters from Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War.
Gameplay Mechanics:
In Bleach: Rebirth of Souls, players engage in battles by depleting their opponent’s Reishi. Once a gauge of Reishi is broken, the opponent’s Konpaku (health) is reduced, represented by nine bars.
Players can execute combos to destroy multiple Konpaku bars and use reverse actions to counterattack. Accumulating spiritual power enables fighters to unleash Spiritual Pressure Moves, awaken, and activate Bankai.
The game’s story mode spans the original Bleach manga, covering arcs from the Substitute Soul Reaper arc up to the Arrancar arc.

The game was developed to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Bleach anime. Katsuaki Tsuzuki serves as the game’s producer.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Anime Update:
The final episode of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 – The Conflict aired as a one-hour special on December 28. The third part premiered on October 5 on TV Tokyo and its affiliates.
The fourth and final part, titled Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity, is currently in production.
- The anime’s first cour premiered in October 2022 and concluded in December 2022 with a one-hour special combining episodes 12 and 13.
- The second cour debuted in July 2023, streaming on Hulu (U.S.), Star+ (Latin America), and Disney+ (internationally).
The anime adapts the final arc of Bleach, covering volumes 55-74 of the manga and bringing the story to its end.
