A new era is dawning for the Pokémon anime! Pokémon Horizons has revealed that its next chapter will be subtitled Mega Voltage—and its protagonists are about to embark on a journey that even Ash Ketchum never experienced: growing up!

A newly released visual showcases Liko, Roy, and Dot as teenagers, joined by a new character named Ulto (spelling yet to be confirmed) and a mix of familiar and fresh Pokémon. This timeskip marks a historic first in the anime’s 25-year run.

Additional details on this major shift for the series will be shared in the near future. In the meantime, Pokémon Centers across Japan are celebrating the launch of Mega Voltage with a “Start Dash Campaign,” featuring special novelty item giveaways and meet-and-greets with Captain Pikachu.
