A unique anniversary watch featuring Kuromi has been launched through a collaboration between CASIO and Hello Kitty’s Sanrio. This special timepiece serves not only as a watch but also as a charming decorative accessory that can be transformed into an appealing charm.
To mark the 30th anniversary of the BABY G brand, CASIO has introduced a new watch model inspired by Sanrio’s beloved character, Kuromi.

This watch showcases various design elements that pay homage to Kuromi, such as mascot-shaped embroidery on the strap, artistic detailing on the watch face’s back, and the inclusion of “Kuromi” text.
Additionally, the watch can be converted into a charm, complete with stickers featuring a skull, butterfly, and text. It is priced at 16,500 yen (approximately US$104), and interested readers can find images, further information, and a special promotional video below.
To celebrate her 50th anniversary, Hello Kitty is also getting a new Rubik’s Cube that fuses the iconic kitten’s signature cuteness with the beloved puzzle game.
The watch is available for purchase on Sanrio’s Japanese website and the designated BABY G product page. At this time, an international release has not been confirmed, so fans may need to rely on trusted proxy shipping services.

This new Kuromi watch builds upon CASIO’s earlier release of a special case cover for compatible BABY G+PLUS watches featuring the character.
It also follows CASIO’s partnership on an anniversary G-SHOCK watch for Sanrio’s Hello Kitty, SEIKO’s anniversary Hello Kitty watch, and Kuromi’s tech accessory collaboration with CASETiFY.
The latter included various accessories for items such as phone cases, AirPods, AirPods Pro, Apple Watch bands, wireless chargers, grip stands, MacBooks, and iPads.
