The official website for the television anime adaptation of Visual Arts/Key’s Summer Pockets visual novel released its second promotional video and a new key visual on Saturday. The video features a preview of Konomi Suzuki’s ending theme song, “Loving Moment.”

Staff

The anime is directed by Tomoki Kobayashi (Akame ga KILL!, sola, Takunomi.) at studio feel. Keiichirō Ōchi (Adachi and Shimamura, Hinamatsuri, Go, Go, Loser Ranger!) is supervising the series scripts, while Mai Otsuka (Tearmoon Empire, Non Non Biyori) is in charge of character design.

The music composition is credited to Shinji Orito, Jun Maeda, Donmaru, Tomohiro Takeshita, Ryō Mizutsuki, and Shūhei Ōhashi.

Game Background

Originally released for PC in Japan in June 2018, Summer Pockets was later launched digitally and physically on Nintendo Switch in June 2019 by Visual Arts/Key and Prototype.

An expanded version, Summer Pockets REFLECTION BLUE, was released for PC in June 2020 and has since become available on mobile devices, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4.

The English version of the game was launched via Steam in February 2020.

Set in a remote island’s rural district, the story revolves around “one nostalgic summer.”
