The official X/Twitter account for the television anime adaptation of Kōki Fuyutsuki’s light novel series The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold To Another Kingdom (Kanpeki Sugite Kawaige ga Nai to Konyaku Haki Sareta Seijo wa Ringoku ni Urareru) unveiled a second character video and additional cast members on Saturday. The video highlights both the newly announced cast and previously revealed voice actors.
New Cast Members:
- Shū Uchida as Grace Martilas, the saint of the Bolmeln Kingdom
- Kazuyuki Okitsu as Fernando Ziltonia, Julius’ older brother
- Miki Itō as Hildegarde Adenauer, Philia and Mia’s aunt, and the former saint of Ziltonia
- Kentarō Itō as Georg Adenauer, father of Philia and Mia
- Sayaka Ōhara as Cornelia Adenauer, mother of Philia and Mia
- Yūya Murakami as Pierre, Mia’s personal guard knight and a knight of Ziltonia
The anime is scheduled to premiere in April on TV Tokyo, TV Aichi, and BS Asahi.

The anime is directed by Shuu Watanabe (Naruto Shippūden, Shinobi no Ittoki) at TROYCA, with Keiichirō Ōchi (The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses, The Quintessential Quintuplets) overseeing the series scripts. Shūhei Yamamoto (Beast Tamer, Kakushigoto) is in charge of character design.
Scriptwriting is handled by Keiichirō Ōchi (Aikatsu!, My Tiny Senpai), Takayo Ikami (Brothers Conflict, Assassins Pride), and Sayaka Harada, while Takaaki Nakahashi (Peach Boy Riverside) is composing the music.
Story Synopsis (via Seven Seas):
Philia hails from a lineage of saints, making her the most revered saint of all time—and the fiancée of the second prince, Julius. However, her seemingly flawless nature leads Julius to end their engagement, branding her as unappealing and dull.
As a final humiliation, Philia is sold to a neighboring kingdom in exchange for gold and resources, forcing her to leave her homeland.
Expecting mistreatment, she is instead welcomed warmly in her new country, where she uses her saintly abilities to protect people from monsters and cure epidemics. However, even as she thrives in her new home, a looming crisis threatens to destroy the land she once called home.
Kōki Fuyutsuki originally launched the story as a web novel on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in July 2020, concluding it in January 2022. Overlap published the seventh compiled book volume on December 25.
The series also received a manga adaptation by Mago Ayakita, which began serialization on Overlap’s Comic Gardo platform in November 2021. Overlap released the fifth compiled volume on June 25.
