The live-action series Yumi’s Cells, based on the popular webtoon, has officially been confirmed for a third season.
Yumi’s Cells chronicles the everyday life and emotional development of an ordinary woman named Yumi. The story is told uniquely from the perspectives of the tiny cells inside her brain, offering a creative and engaging narrative filled with relatable slice-of-life moments.
The series was first adapted into a live-action format in 2021, starring Go-eun Kim and Bo-hyun Ahn. The show became notable for its innovative style, which combined live-action with 3D animation, marking a first in the history of K-dramas.

As reported by South Korean entertainment outlet Xports News, Go-eun Kim is currently considering an offer to reprise her role for the third season.
The Yumi’s Cells webtoon, created by Donggeon Lee, was serialized on Naver Webtoon starting in 2015 and has since been completed. The English version of the webtoon is available on WEBTOON.
Both seasons of the Yumi’s Cells live-action series are currently available for streaming on Rakuten Viki.
